Byproducts / Waterproofing Materials

At our own refinery we manufacture bitumen based products which can be used in water proofing.The products include

  • Bitubond (a cold applied adhesive for sticking bitufelt)
  • Bituplast (a cold applied waterproofing compound)
  • Bituminous Black (anti-corrosive, multi purpose black bituminous coating)
  • Bitukote (cold applied emulsion for waterproofing and protection of insulation)
  • Bituprimer (applied to any concrete, masonry, wooden or metal surface)
  • Cable Compound (for cable box jointing)

Bitubond

  • Bitubond is manufactured from selected grades of bitumen with mineral oils. It is of semi-liquid, creamy consistency and supplied in ready to use containers.

Uses

  • As cold applied bitumen binder in place of hot bitumen for sticking of bitufelt on metals, timber, tiles, asbestos, concrete and masonry surfaces
  • Waterproofing the roofs of buses, tramcars and railway carriages
  • As a mop coat over the existing waterproofing treatment, this will longivate the life of bitufelt.
